Tracking without suits: Mo-Sys surprises at NAB 2024 with Mo-Captury
Mo-Captury (Mon-Sys) is presented to the global broadcast industry in NAB 2024 with the promise of offering finger tracking and facial expressions without the need to wear special suits.
Mon-Sys, with the aim of accelerating calibration processes and continuing to streamline augmented reality workflows in broadcast, corporate or virtual production environments, has developed the new Mo-Captury. The system completely eliminates the need for clothing traditional mocap suits, gloves or markers, while maintaining fidelity in the recruitment processes.
Mo-Captury has been presented at NAB 2024 as a package that includes software, hardware, mounting accessories and personalized support in case it is required. Its deployment is simple, since it is made up of a camera series that are placed around the perimeter of the action area. Once installed, calibration is carried out through developments associated with optical camera tracking systems. StarTracker Max and the cinema server VP Pro.
In addition to these systems, Mo-Sys is exhibiting other equipment at NAB such as the remote robotic control workflow solution TimeCam; Gyro-stabilized heavy-duty camera head G30, or remote heads U50, L40 y B20.
