Paco Plaza directs 'Mugaritz', a Movistar Plus+ documentary

Movistar Plus+ produced in collaboration with Fonte Films 'Mugaritz', an approach to Andoni Luis Aduriz's controversial restaurant captured by the unique gaze of Paco Plaza (Sister Death, The grandmother, [REC]).

The restaurant Mugaritz of Rent (Guipúzcoa) is known for reinventing itself every year, surprising with a new menu. In this way, each season is a challenge and a surprise. The objective of Mugaritz is to document how this investigative period develops behind closed doors, applying to the format that “freedom” and “controlled chaos” that prevails in the kitchen to “satisfy the curiosity of the spectators.”

Paco Plaza, a horror film regular, has been proposed for this original Movistar Plus+ record and witness the process of creation, conceptualization and commentary of the dishes, but not their preparation given that “the creation of Mugaritz has more to do with the expression of ideas through food than with the kitchen itself.” The viewer of the documentary will be a privileged witness of this creative freedom, challenged by a contagious curiosity.
