Disguise demonstrates at NAB the potential in virtual production, extended and augmented reality
Disguise shows the latest trends and technologies at NAB 2025 with demonstrations at the stands of some of its partners, talks about revolutionary stadiums and cutting-edge technical research.
Any broadcaster, sports franchise or production company that wants to captivate the public using virtual production, extended reality, augmented reality can attend these days in Las Vegas demonstrations of Disguise technology at the stands of the fair's partners. Attendees can learn more in the first Sports Summit at NAB, where the Disguise team is tackling the rising trend of stadiums that use immersive content based on data to drive fan participation and improve the experience at sports matches.
Disguise is also organizing other discussion panels during the fair these days, including a panel with the content creation studio TRG Multimedia which will discuss how the Midwest is becoming a hot spot for film production, as well as a technical presentation covering the Disguise engineering team's research into new depth estimation techniques for AI-powered volumetric capture.
Visitors who want to see Disguise technology can do so at both booth N2427 and B&H showcasing an immersive sports broadcast setup in action; booth N2629 Planar, delivered in collaboration with 4Wall, showcasing a streaming setup equipped with VX 4+ and RX III for scalable real-time rendering and high frame rate frame remapping; and in ROE at N2839, where the Disguise VX range has been chosen to power ROE's entire product display, including the new Denali 0.7 Micro LED In Package display.
Brian Allen, Vice President of Creative Services
As part of NAB 2025, Disguise has announced the appointment of Brian Allen as Vice President of Creative Services. In this role, Allen will lead the continued growth of the Disguise creative services division, offering innovative content solutions that enable clients to bring their boldest ideas to life through virtual production, broadcast and immersive installations.
Con more than a decade of experience Designing at the intersection of storytelling and cutting-edge technology, Allen has shaped immersive experiences for major brands and cultural icons. Her previous works include the immersive art space Illuminarium, the American Express Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience, National Geographic's Genius: Studio, and many more.
“My true passion is telling stories,” says Allen. “In this new role, I will be able to work with some of the best technologies in the world, as well as Disguise's global team of artists and technologists, to help our clients meet the unique demands of each project and deliver stories that make audiences feel something.”
Having started his career at RadicalMedia, Allen has worked on Emmy and Cannes Lions award-winning projects in the fields of augmented and virtual reality, LED displays and interactive projections. Later, as co-founder of Illuminarium, Allen spearheaded the creation of multi-sensory spaces with one of the world's largest projection canvases and set new standards for large-format immersion.
