Mitele renews its streaming platform becoming Mediaset Infinity
Mediaset Spain Mitele's technological and brand transformation will culminate in the coming weeks with the launch of Mediaset Infinity, its renewed digital television platform, which will expand its catalog of free entertainment and fiction content for viewers.
The current Mitele will thus adopt not only the brand of the streaming service of the group's Italian parent company, but also its technological architecture of the latest generation, giving rise to a renewed and expanded audiovisual proposal.
The new platform will offer open access to a wide range of content from Mediaset España: live and on-demand broadcasts of its programs and series; exclusive content derived from its television formats; and new original productions created for release in the digital environment. Many of these formats, until now available only by subscription, will now be accessible to all viewers.
In this new stage, the MitelePLUS SVOD model will be called Mediaset Infinity+, and will allow users access to the entire catalog of Mediaset España digital content with additional advantages aimed at improving the user experience, such as the elimination of advertising interruptions, playback from the beginning of a live show and downloading content, among others.
Personalized experience
Mediaset Infinity will be deployed on a state-of-the-art technological infrastructure, designed to respond to growing market demands and guarantee fluid, agile and personalized experience on all devices: web, app and connected television. All this through a modern, fast and intuitive interface which will facilitate navigation and adapt to the user's preferences without having to download a new application, since it will be enough to update the Mitele app.
Among its main novelties, Mediaset Infinity will incorporate a simple, effective and adaptable design to the user's tastes; an optimized search system with a precise recommendation engine; an improved user area from which to manage profiles, devices and communications; and a robust and scalable technological architecture that will guarantee the proper functioning of the service at all times.
This launch is the result of more than a year and a half of joint work between Mediaset Spain and Mediaset Italia, in a project that has involved Technology, User Experience, Digital Product, Digital Content and Design teams. The experience accumulated by the Italian parent company has been key to consolidating a modern, solid offering aligned with current audiovisual consumption habits.
