Fonte Films shoots for Netflix the adaptation of the successful Danish thriller 'Love for Adults'
Hugo Silva, Leonor Watling, Esther Acebo and Gorka Otxoa lead the cast of the adaptation of the successful Danish thriller Netflix 'Love for adults', based on the novel 'Loving Adults' by Anna Ekbergque, which Fonte Films produces for the platform.
Víctor (Hugo Silva) is a successful businessman caught between loyalty to his wife Noelia (Leonor Watling) and the passion and ambition he shares with his lover and partner, Blanca (Esther Acebo), who tries to maintain his luxurious life at any cost. Javi (Gorka Otxoa), Victor's brother, will witness this love triangle where loyalty and betrayal intersect and nothing is as it seems.
Produced by Fonte Films for Netflix, the film is directed by Fernando Izquierdo. The project has a script by Carlos López (The body on fire, City of shadows), production of Pablo Isla (The Center, The shadow of the earth) y Carla Pérez de Albéniz (While the war lasts, The Stranger) and executive production of Fatima Dapena (To the sky, Clans), and has been filmed in different locations in Barcelona. The film will adapt the Netflix feature film Love for Adults, originally based on the novel Loving Adults, by Anna Ekberg.
Fonte Films is a production company that launched in the fall of 2022 with the aim of betting on quality, innovation and talent in the audiovisual industry. Its founders are Pablo Isla (former president of Inditex and current president of Nestlé), Carla Pérez de Albéniz (Goya for best production management for While the war lasts) and María Jesús Román (founding partner of MRG Abogados, with more than 20 years of experience in the audiovisual sector). This film is his first collaboration with Netflix.
