Agapi confirms its board of directors for the 2025-2027 biennium

The General Assembly of members of AGAPI decides to unanimously support the candidacy of the Board of Directors for the next biennium 2025-2027, chaired by Felipe Lage, executive producer of Zeitun Films.

Lage will be accompanied by Silvia Fuentes de Sétima as vice president, Luisa Romeo from Frida Films as secretary y Andrea Vazquez from Miramemira as treasurer. Daniel Froiz of Matryoshka, Nati Juncal of Cosmic, X. Lois Ledo de Nós, Galician film production company, Xacio Bathroom of Rebordelos and Roi Carballido of Filmika Galaika will continue as partners.

This continuity candidacy includes only one change in vice presidency. The rest of the Board of Directors renews their position with “enthusiasm and commitment” to work for the Galician audiovisual sector, as it has been doing since Agapi was founded in 1994, while taking advantage of the opportunity to urge all independent production companies to join this common project, of which a total of 49 associated companies

The notable growth in the number of companies AGAPI, con 11 new additions in 2025, is due to “the excellent creative moment” that the audiovisual sector is going through, which must be “accompanied by public policies that guarantee its consolidation over time.” Regarding the future challenges, Lage points out: “without a doubt, the main thing is the need to consolidate a stable and professionalized market that allows us to compete on equal terms in other territories, while we face the atomization of the sector and the volatility of financing.
