The Spanish Federation of Animation Production Associations, DIBOOS, has unanimously elected a new board of directors that will be chaired by Carlos Biern (BRB/Screen 21).

The new Board has been restructured, organizing itself based on the different areas of the sector and with the incorporation of five new members. This restructuring ensures a balanced distribution of the tasks of each area, favorably expanding and diversifying the associative action, in line with the new challenges that the animation sector has posed for the next four years, such as internationalization, the development of new agreements with national television stations, educational training, business development and the implementation of the use of new technologies in the interactive and 3D field.

Together with Carlos Biern, the new board of directors is Enrique Uviedo (Motion Pictures and President AEPA) and Sergi Reitg (Imira and president ANIMATS) who will focus on the television area; Chelo Loureiro (Continental). Manuel Sicilia (Kandor Graphics) and Sophie de Mac Mahon (Ilion), who will focus on film; Fernando de Miguel (Zinkia) who will be in charge of new technologies; Eva Fontanals (Edebé) and Manuel Cristóbal (Perroverde), who will focus their efforts on international markets; Guillermo Velasco (Enne) for communication matters; and Ángel Molinero (Vodka Capital/Shaker 737), who will emphasize investment and training.

With this new structure, DIBOOS thus consolidates its role as a driving force in one of the sectors with the greatest growth potential in Spanish audiovisual production.
