Promax DVB-T optical signal transmitter and receiver
Promax launches the DT610 optical transmitter and DT620 optical receiver modules on the market.
In order to bridge a certain distance, Promax now offers the possibility of converting the DVB-T digital signal into an optical signal through a DT-610 converter and recovering it with a DT-620 receiver.
The DT-610 is an optical transmitter that converts DVB-T signals into optical signals for transmission via fiber optics. The laser diode modulation is optimized for the transmission of DVB-T and DVB-C digital channels.
At the other end of the link, the DT-620 converts to DVB-T again, recovering the COFDM signal. It is suitable for optical links up to 40 km away.
The DT-620 is an optical receiver that converts input optical signals into DVB-T RF signals for transmission over a distribution network. The module has an SC optical input and a BNC type RF output. The input is demodulated and optimized for transmission on DVB-T and DVB-C digital channels. The RF signal is available at the BNC output of the module. It can then be inserted into a distribution network with the advantages of robustness and high quality that digital technology offers.
The optical input of the DT-620 module supports wavelengths from 1100 to 1600 nm.
