Eduardo Zulueta, a Spaniard in charge of the global operations of AMC Networks International
The new president of AMC Networks International will direct all international operations of the company, which has more than 90 television channels distributed in more than 140 countries and territories.
AMC Networks has appointed Eduardo Zuluetto new presidente de AMC Networks International (AMCNI). Zulueta will be the head of all international operations of the company that has more than 90 pay television channels, with iconic brands such as AMC and Sundance TV and locally produced channels distributed in more than 140 countries and territories in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Zulueta, currently president of AMC Networks International for Southern Europe and Latin America, will assume his new role, a newly created position, effective November 1 and will continue to report to Ed Carroll, Chief Operating Officer of AMC Networks.
Eduardo Zulueta held the position of general director of Chellomedia for Spain and Portugal (content division of Liberty Global) since 2005 and after its acquisition by AMC Networks in 2014 he was appointed president of AMC Networks International for Southern Europe and Latin America. In this position he has led the launch of international brands such as AMC and SundanceTV and the growth of some of the leading channels in the Spanish market such as Canal Cocina, Canal Hollywood or Odisea, among others.
Zulueta is one of the pioneers of pay television in Spain and has extensive experience in the sector, holding different positions such as general director of the production company Molinare, general director of Multicanal, director of programming and content of Vía Digital and general director of Fremantle Media for Spain and Portugal, among others.
