Disguise will develop solutions from New York with Fuse

Fuse Technical Group y disguise have closed an agreement through which both companies will develop and test new, unprecedented solutions aimed at live and virtual production.

Disguise has been part of the inauguration of the Fuse | Stage42, a studio located in Times Square which has an environment of extended reality from which disguise will research, develop, test and demonstrate new technologies. He will do it hand in hand with Fuse, which will thus become one of the first global companies to test disguise's latest innovations. Ryan Middlemiss, director of media servers at Fuse Technical Group, highlights the benefits What this collaboration with disguise will bring: “Collaborating with Disguise allows us to incorporate our own custom tools and workflows into a system we have been using for the last 10 years.” On the other hand, Fernando Küfer, disguise CEO, explains why the company has decided to embark on a new stage of deeper collaboration with Fuse: “As we move forward in realizing new realms of experience, such as the metaverse, we need the expertise of those who are able to bridge the gap between concept, technology and reality so that we can empower the next generation of technologists and creatives to redefine entertainment.”

The collaboration of disguise y Fuse dates back several years ago, when the technology solutions developer participated in one of the tours of U2. Since then, Fuse has used disguise solutions throughout type of projects and has served as a testing ground for key solutions such as xR, launched at NAB 2019. Simultaneously, Fuse has been able to rely on disguise to help them support the technical configurations of great and innovative formats broadcast, concert tours and events. Among them are film productions such as Black Adam y Shazam; concerts and broadcasts for artists such as Billie Eilish, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons, Kings of Leon, Doja Cat and Panic! At the Disco, as well as many other important broadcasts and events, including the Halftime Show from the Super Bowl, the MTV VMAs and the Fortnite World Cup.

Looking to the future, Fuse will work closely with the disguise software and product developers to continue shaping the future of its technology, including fields such as the development of SMPTE 2110 and that of the new workflows for the metaverse.
