TVP deploys more than 600 Robe mobile lights at its headquarters

More than 600 moving lights Robe are already an integral part of the production studios of Polish national television TVP.

The first solutions Robe who arrived at TVP were 24 Colour Spot 170 in 2005 (which are still in operation, although they are not used daily), while the last ones were 32 Spirits, delivered by the distributor Prolight to the media entity. The sum of the total Robe solutions in TVP amounts to 600 units, deployed in the six studios at its headquarters in Warsaw, as well as in 13 regional centers.

Más allá de las compras previamente mencionadas, otro encargo de relevancia fue la adquisición de 100 LEDWasth 600, una inversión que vino secundada por las compras de unidades adicionales de LEDWash 600+, LEDWash 600X y más de 60 LEDWash 800. “They can be used like a fresnel and are ideal for many different tasks, such as filling backgrounds and lighting sets, not just for effects,” Madry explains about this equipment.

Among the Robe solutions that the TVP team often relies on, you can also find 60 Pointes, 100 LEDBeam 150s y 100 MegaPoints. Precisely, Madry considers that this latest model is one of his “favorite” luminaires due to its versatility. “It's a fantastic light to have in your toolbox,” he emphasizes.

Looking to the future, TVP plans to continue investing in Robe like the iSeries: IP products that almost exactly mimic the size, weight, output and appearance of their non-IP counterparts. “The adaptability of being able to mix the two types of devices is unique to Robe,” concludes Madry, pointing out that he plans to use this equipment in a significant number of productions driven with mobile units.
