Samsung, Nokia, Sony-Playstation and HTC-Vive, among the manufacturers that will participate in the Virtual Reality Observatory
The large technology companies will be present on July 19 and 20 at the Digital Content Center in Malaga.
On June 1, the agenda will be announced and registration will open for the first edition of the Virtual Reality Observatory that will take place in Malaga on July 19 and 20. The main reference companies in this sector have already confirmed their participation.
Samsung, the main Tech Partner, will make an important display and during the two days will offer demonstrations of its Samsung Gear glasses in both the Demo and Networking areas of the Digital Content Center of Malaga, where the event organized by Medina Media will be held.
Nokia has also confirmed its participation and its delegation will be headed by Álvaro Villegas, director in Spain of the prestigious Bell Labs.
Sony-Playstation will be represented by Jorge Huguet, marketing director for Spain and Portugal at Sony Computer Entertainment (Playstation).
HTC-Vive through Antonio Tallón, Business Development Director of the Virtual Reality area, will explain the applications that Virtual Reality has in sectors such as industry, architecture and design.
The objective of the Virtual Reality Observatory is to examine the current situation and national and international projects in virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, 360, content, advertising, training, video games, eSports...
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU-UER), through its head of Media strategy and development, Madiana Asseraf, will present a report on the companies that are betting on Virtual Reality and why they are doing so.
